This is a one-day, instructor-led MIMEsweeper training course which will teach the delegate to install, deploy and develop policies to combat Web based viruses, perform content inspection and policy enforcement.

• Architecture – How MIMEsweeper for Web processes HTTP, HTTPS and Passive FTP
• Installation – Install and deploy the product, network topology, licensing and services control
• Securing your configuration – Preparing for policy configuration, browser and proxy configuration
• Policy configuration – Policy principles and practice, a guide to developing and implementing policy

This course is designed for anyone who is responsible for installing and configuring a content security solution to regulate access to the World Wide Web

Certification

This course will prepare you for the MIMEsweeper for Web CMA examination, which is included and taken at the conclusion of the course

Pre-requisites

Delegates should have experience in Microsoft Windows 2000, TCP/IP Networking and Web server technologies

Follow-on course

This is the first of two courses in the MIMEsweeper for Web range, delegates should also consider attending the MIMEsweeper for WEB CME course. Those organisations that also have MIMEsweeper for SMTP installed should also consider the three days training covering this product.
