This one-day course provides delegates with hands on training in the administration of a Websense installation and addresses the key steps in installing, configuring and managing an Employee Internet Management system.

• Install and configure Websense
• Download a database
• Add their own sites
• Understand and use Premium Groups
• Implement Filtering Basics including; after work, Quotas, Password override, Customised block messages
• Identifying users including transparent identification, Manual authentication
• Reporting

Certification

This course has been developed in conjunction with Websense, there is no associated examination but all delegates will receive a certificate of attendance.

Pre-requisites

Delegates should have a working knowledge of the Internet and commonly used Internet Protocols i.e. HTTP and FT

Follow-on course
