Attribute Visitor Activity to the Right Campaign at the Right Time

Tired of yesterday's download getting attributed in your campaign records to an e-mail you sent out two years ago? Campaign attribution parameters in Webtrends Analytics help you improve the accuracy of your campaign reporting. Here's how to enable the attribution parameters, so you can begin attributing visitor activity to the right campaign at the right time:

Step 1: Edit the profile and select visitor history. In the administrative console, go to Web Analysis > Reports & Profiles and select the profile you wish to edit. Go to the "Analysis" drop-down menu and select "Visitor History".

Step 2: Choose the behaviour categories you wish to track. There are several categories of visitor behaviour that you can track, including visitor history, purchase history or your own customised segments. You can also set campaign and keyword expiration dates, ensuring that no additional activity will be attributed to your campaigns after they conclude. Click on "Save" to retain your changes.
