WebTrends Maintenance Renewal

In order to ensure a high level of service and customer satisfaction, WebTrends offers customers Essential Care and Premium Care* maintenance agreements.  Beyond product updates, service and technical support, an additional benefit of a WebTrends maintenance agreement is the ability to upgrade to the most current version of the supported product at no additional cost during the time the maintenance plan is active.

However, once a new version of a product is introduced, new maintenance plan subscriptions will no longer be available to be purchased for the version that is being replaced.  Maintenance plans can only be purchased for the current version of any WebTrends product.

For customers wanting to upgrade to the latest version but who don’t have an active maintenance plan in place (either because a plan was not purchased initially or because the purchased plan has expired), WebTrends offers the “Get Current” program.  This program enables current customers without active maintenance agreements to purchase a version upgrade at a significant discount compared to the price of the product purchased new.

The Get Current program allows customers to upgrade to the current version of the same product they own (or its replacement) at a discount of approximately 40% off the list price of the new product.  This Get Current upgrade is available for both base licence(s) and addon( s), if applicable.  However, the Get Current program discount does not apply to maintenance plans, which must be purchased at the normal price if maintenance is required by the product or desired by the customer.

Limitations:

• The Get Current upgrade is available only to current customers who posses a valid WebTrends product licence.  Upon installation, the Get Current product upgrade will determine the number of valid previous product licenses installed (Base licenses and Add-On licenses) and will only allow the installation of the same number of upgrade licenses.  If no previous version licenses are detected, the product upgrade will not install.
• The Get Current program allows a version upgrade only.  The upgrade must be from an older version of a product to the newer version of that same product, or its replacement.  e.g. WebTrends Reporting Center Enterprise Ed. 6.1 to WebTrends 8 Commerce package.
• Customers are permitted to purchase a one-for-one, license-for-license upgrade under the terms of the Get Current upgrade program. Upgrade licenses may not be purchased for more licenses than are currently owned, which applies to Base licenses Add-on licenses.  If further Add-on licenses are required or desired, these must be purchased at the regular price.
